EX-WIFE INVITED TO THE WEDDING TO SAY GOODBYE — BUT EVERYONE STOPPED WHEN SHE ARRIVED WITH HER CHILD AND THE WEALTH THAT STOPPED THE CEREMONY

Jason left his wife Rina five years ago. The reason? Rina, he said, “wasn’t going anywhere.” She was just a simple teacher, dressed in Baduy, and was pregnant at the time.

Jason replaced her with Vanessa, the daughter of a wealthy politician.

Today is Jason and Vanessa’s wedding day. It will be held at the most expensive hotel in the city, the Grand Imperial Hotel.

Vanessa had planned to send Rina an invitation.

“Honey,” Vanessa laughed as she adjusted her veil. “Are you sure your ex is coming? I want him to see how fancy our wedding is. I want to make him feel like I’m heaven and she’s earth.”

“Let him go,” Jason replied. “Maybe he’ll come to eat. He’s starving.”

The ceremony began. Full of elite guests. Jason’s business partners were there, whom he had to impress because their company was going bankrupt.

They were in the middle of the vows when the giant door to the ballroom suddenly opened loudly.

BLAG!

The priest stopped. Everyone turned around.

They expected a rowdy woman to enter to cause trouble.

But they were wrong.

Twelve bodyguards dressed in black entered first. They cleared the way.

Next came two toddlers—a boy and a girl. Twins. They were about 5 years old.

The boy was wearing a tuxedo made of Italian Silk. The girl was dressed like a princess, her headbands full of diamonds.

And behind them… Rina was walking.

She was no longer the Rina Jason knew.

She wore a Black Gown that stood out amidst the white wedding. Her neck was adorned with a Sapphire necklace the size of an egg. Her face was so beautiful, bold, and full of authority.

“W-who is that?” the guests whispered. “Is she the ex-wife? Why does she look like she owns the place?”

Rina walked down the aisle with the twins. Every step she took was like thunder in Jason’s chest.

“Stop!” Vanessa shouted into the microphone. “Security! Get that woman out! She’s ruining my wedding!”

But no hotel security moved. Instead, the Hotel Manager himself approached Rina and bowed.

“Good afternoon, Madam CEO,” the Manager greeted. “I’m sorry for the noise.”

Jason was stunned. CEO?

Rina stopped in front of the altar. She stared at Jason, who was turning pale.

“Hello, Jason,” Rina greeted with a smile. “The invitation said, Witness the Grandest Wedding. That’s why I’m here. I want to see how you’re going to get married while you’re in debt.”

“Rina…” Jason stammered. He looked at the twins. The boy looked exactly like him when he was a child.

“W-are they…?”

“Yes,” Rina replied. “They’re the children I had in my womb when you threw me out. Josh and Janna. The children you called ‘burdens’.”

Young Josh approached Jason. He looked his father from head to toe.

“Mommy,” the child said in a loud voice. “Is he the Daddy who traded us for money? Why does he look cheap?”

The other guests laughed behind him. Vanessa blushed with anger.

“How dare you!” Vanessa shouted. “Rina! Get out of here! You have no right!”

Rina pulled out a document.

“I have no right?” Rina asked. “Vanessa, Jason… you don’t seem to know. The Grand Imperial Hotel you’re building now? I bought it yesterday.”

Everyone gasped.

“I am the new owner of this hotel,” Rina declared. “And as the owner, I have the right to choose who can use my ballroom.”

Rina tore up the document in front of them.

“And I don’t want trash in my hotel. The wedding is CANCELLED.”

“You can’t do this!” Jason cried. “My investors are here! If this doesn’t work out, my company will collapse!”

“That’s the plan, Jason,” Rina replied coldly. “Those investors? I am the majority shareholder of their companies. With one call, you’ll be blacklisted from the entire industry.”

Jason fell to his knees. His ambition to become rich, his dream of power—all were in the hands of the woman he had dumped.

“Rina… please,” Jason pleaded, trying to hold Rina’s hand. “Forgive me. Those are my children. We can be a family again!”

Rina waved her hand away.

“You don’t have a family here,” Rina replied. “Family, you don’t abandon. Family, you don’t trade.”

Rina turned to the twins. “Let’s go, kids. It smells like lansa here.”

“Bye, Mister Cheap!” the girl Janna waved.

Rina turned and walked out. The bodyguards followed.

Jason and Vanessa were left at the altar—not married, but separated. The investors left to chase Rina. The grand wedding turned into a huge tragedy for two judgmental people.

In the end, Rina proved that the cruelest revenge is not shouting or hitting, but showing that you can buy the stage where they were supposed to be famous.
